What it is
Our CNC machining department runs Haas equipment for milling, drilling, tapping and hole patterns, from simple machined parts through complex precision features. It also does the secondary machining on parts we fabricate ourselves, so a weldment that needs a bore or a faced surface after welding never leaves the building. Typical machined dimensions hold to ±0.002", with critical features to ±0.0005" when the process and inspection call for it.

Can you machine a part you also fabricated?
Yes, and that is the reason the mill is here. A weldment that needs a bore or a faced surface after welding never leaves the building, which removes a shipping leg and a second vendor from the job.
What tolerances can you hold?
Typical capability is ±0.002" on linear dimensions and hole location, ±0.001" on hole diameter, and down to ±0.0005" on critical features where the process and inspection support it. Call the critical dimensions out on the print and we will confirm them before we quote.
