Before you send it

Questions we get first

What should I include in a request for quote?

Everything on our checklist: your design files (STEP, DXF, DWG, PDF), material and thickness, quantity, and whether it repeats, finish required (powder coat, plating, anodize), required delivery date, any inspection or tolerance requirements, your name and phone number. Send all of it in one email and we can quote without coming back to you with questions first.

What does the drawing itself need to show?

The material, the thickness and the quantity at minimum, plus any finish you need and any dimension you want held. A fully dimensioned print alongside the CAD file is the fastest path to a number. Parts that have to be re-drawn take longer and can affect pricing.

Do you build to our print, or redesign the part?

We build to the print. Send the drawing and we quote it, make it to that drawing and ship it, on a repeating schedule if that is what you need. If something on the print will fight the process, we say so before we cut rather than after.

Can I send a drawing for a single part?

Yes. A quantity of one goes on the same laser and the same press brakes as a production order, so a prototype is a real order here. There is no separate prototype shop and nothing extra to arrange.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Central. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. The shop is at 788 Hoff Rd., O'Fallon, MO 63366.
