Precision Fiber Laser Cutting
We cut mild steel, stainless, aluminum, brass and copper on a 6kW Mitsubishi fiber laser with a 60" × 120" bed, at our shop in O'Fallon, Missouri, from prototype quantities through full production runs.
Six capabilities, one shop floor
Everything below happens in the same building in O'Fallon. A part gets cut, formed, welded, machined and hardware-installed without leaving, and finishing is scheduled by us. One purchase order, one point of contact, one delivery date.
We cut mild steel, stainless, aluminum, brass and copper on a 6kW Mitsubishi fiber laser with a 60" × 120" bed, at our shop in O'Fallon, Missouri, from prototype quantities through full production runs.
We weld MIG, pulsed MIG, TIG and flux-cored, with the shop's specialty in aluminum and stainless steel, for components of virtually any size.
Five press brakes from 6 to 12 feet and 60 to 230 tons, so your part goes on the machine that suits it instead of the only machine we own.
We run Haas CNC machining in the same building as the laser and the press brakes, so machined features and formed sheet metal come from one shop.
We insert self-clinching fasteners, weld nuts, studs and standoffs in-house, so parts arrive ready to assemble rather than ready to hand off.
We manage powder coating, zinc plating and anodizing through a vetted network of finishers, so your parts arrive coated, inspected and ready for production.
Also in the shop
A quantity of one runs on the same laser and the same brake as a production order. No separate prototype shop, no minimum you have to hit before we will look at the drawing.
Cut, formed, welded and hardware-installed as one finished assembly, rather than a box of parts you have to put together.
Send the print. We quote it, build it to the drawing and ship it, on a repeating schedule if that is what you need.
The same part, the same way, run after run. CNC brakes and laser programs mean the hundredth part matches the first.
Under one roof
Send it to sales@smfinc.net and we'll quote it.
