How thick can you cut carbon steel?
The 6kW fiber laser handles carbon steel up to about 1 in., and most production work sits at 5/8 in. and under. This is a precision sheet metal shop rather than a plate shop, so send the drawing and we will tell you straight away whether the laser is the right process for your part.
Can you plate or coat the finished parts?
Yes. Zinc plating and powder coating are coordinated through vetted finishing partners, scheduled and inspected by us, so parts arrive finished rather than needing another vendor.
Do you do structural steel?
No. We are a precision sheet metal shop: no plate rolling, no structural steel, no field installation. If that is what your job needs we will say so rather than take the work.
